Findings (Fields) Template Set-Up
If you would like to use Findings Custom Fields, you should create a Findings (Fields) Template in Account Admin -> Templates and choose “+New Findings Template.”
The Baseline Template will export all Finding Custom Fields in the order presented in the Detailed Findings section. If you customize and wish to call the value of a Finding Custom Field discreetly, you will need to do so by the key you assign the field. Click “+Add Field,” and enter a Key for the field. Keys must be a single continuous string, lowercase with no special characters other than an underscore.
Your label can be any value you desire – it is the human-readable string that is presented when previewing a Finding in the PlexTrac application.
You will generally leave the Value blank unless you wish to provide reusable starter text.
Add additional fields as desired, then save and close.
